How to make your Projector Bulb last longer

How to make your projector bulb last longer

Projectors are a useful tool for businesses and schools. Every effective presentation needs the help of a good projector. Once you have bought a projector, you will naturally want it to last as long as possible. If you want to make your projector last longer, you need to take care of the bulb in your projector.

The bulb inside the projector is like any other electric bulbs, it generates heat. However, a projector l bulb generates more heat when compared to other light bulbs.

Therefore, projector bulbs are very vulnerable to damage.
To make your projector bulb last longer follow these tips;

1. Turn down the brightness of the projector. By turning d
own the power of the projector, you can make your bulb last longer. When the brightness of the projector is lower, it uses less electric power.

2. Make sure that the fan of the projector is working. The fan is used to cool down the projector bulbs. So check the fan regularly to make sure that it is working. If it does not work, it will lower the lifespan of your projector.

3. Keep the projector and filter clean. Filter cools the projector. Therefore, keeping the filter clean from dirt and dust will make the light bulb of your projector lasts longer. You can clean the filter by hovering it when taking the filter out of the projector also you can wash it, but before putting the filter back in the projector make sure that it is dry completely.

4. Maintain the temperature of the room as constant shifts from hot to cold will damage the projector.

5. Allow the lamp to cool after you have used the projector. Do not move it immediately after usage. By allowing your projector bulb to cool for a few minutes after use, you can increase the lifespan of your projector bulb.

Here is where consumers get bogged down with the terminology and potential choices. Where once there was only the good, old-fashioned 25-inch tube TV, now consumers have the choice of not only a dozen sizes from 26-inches to 73-inches, but also have to choose between plasma, LCD, rear projection, and front projection.

The size of the television or video display device you get really depends on the size of the room environment you will be using it in and how close you will be sitting to the screen.

However, the decision as to what type of television you get is a little more complex. However, no matter what type of television or video display device you purchase, make sure it is high definition compatible, as almost all geographical locations in the world have access to an increasing amount of high definition programming, either over-the-air, cable, and/or satellite sources.

With specific reference as to whether one should get a video projector, the main factor you have to take into consideration is whether you intend to watch a lot of television programs vs. Blu-ray Disc and/or DVD movies.
